After-School Basketball and Netball update

Basketball:

All basketball teams will roll over into term 3.  Please let your manager know if you are unable to play.


Final training night this Tuesday - don't forget your crazy hats!

Netball:
Games will not be played during the school holidays except for the first Saturday - enjoy the break.


But if you do want more there is a holiday programme being run at Edith Hopper courts.  Please contact Lynda for more details netball@sportgulfharbour.co.nz.


And don't forget toll gate fund raising this week at the courts.

Rippa Rugby Rulz !

Recently we had two teams competing in the North Harbour Schools Rippa Rugby Tournament. Both teams competed admirably, winning their fair share of games.The players involved are to be commended for their resilience, skill and most importantly outstanding sportsmanship.

GHS was also represented in an invitational tournament held at the North Harbour Stadium. The best school teams throughout North Harbour were in involved in this event and were vying for a place in the Rippa World cup competition to be held in conjunction with the other big event soon to happen.

Our team gave outstanding performances in their bid to make the final but were unfortunately pipped at the post by the team that eventually made the final.

Many thanks to the enthusiastic band of supporting parents in both tournaments and your transportation of the teams to the events is much appreciated.

In all we were very proud of our achievements on the field. Well done teams!
