Year 7 and 8 Triathlon
On the 3rd of April 21 students from GHS went and competed in the forgotten schools cluster year 7 and 8 triathlon. This event was held at Wainui School. We were split up into 6 teams, with four people in each team. One swimming, running, cycling and finally running. Our teams came 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
In the end we finished up coming 3rd with an average time of 26.83 just behind Wainui and Silverdale who were separated by 7 seconds.
It was a great day and all the students gave their best. Bring on next years triathlon.
