2 Teams of Gulf Harbour Yr 7 & 8 students attended the 2011 Intermediate Netball Zone Day held by Carmel College at Netball North Harbour on Tuesday 16th August.
They braved the extreme weather to compete with other Intermediate Schools in the area and have some fun along the way.
Whilst our Year 7 team finished the day with a full team, our 'unlucky' Year 8 team had several injuries but fought back in the end to win their last game of the day, showing great team work with a few of our Yr 7 students who pitched in to help complete their team.Again, we couldn't come to these events without some fantastic, supportive parents (thanks to Wendy, Lee, Cassandra & Caroline) and thanks to the students who attended for giving it their all in pretty tough conditions!
