We will be having
the school swimming sports on Wednesday 27th of February at the Stanmore Bay Leisure
Centre. All students from
year 5 to 8 will be participating in at least two events relevant to their
ability. House points will be awarded.
We will be leaving
school by bus at 9:30am sharp.
We will have
morning tea as soon as we arrive at the pools. We are asking the students to
come to school with their swimming gear.
Program as follows.
10:00am House Game – Warm Up.
10:20am Open 4 stroke Medley
10:20am Heats for freestyle Yr 5
Girls, Boys
Yr 6,
Yr 7,
Yr 8
Followed by
Backstroke, Breastroke, and Butterfly (open)
Final will start at
12:45pm
Relays from 1:30pm
Students will board
bus at 2:00 and will return to school by 2:15pm.
Cost of this trip is $6.00 per student for bus and pool
hire.
These are the things that you need to take on the
trip:
- Drink-water
- Morning tea and lunch
- Towel and togs/swimming gear.
- School uniform to change back
into at the pools.
Bag to put wet towels and togs into.
We do require
parent help on the day please.
